Starting at the historic depot in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia, riders take a four-hour, 26-mile roundtrip journey along the Toccoa River through the North Georgia countryside. The first leg of the adventure takes riders on a one hour trip to the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee, nestled deep in the mountains on each state’s line.
Mercier Orchards is a 4th generation family owned and operated apple orchard. The combination of U-PICK events, Farm Winery, Goodies from the bakery and market cafe make this a great location to visit while in Blue Ridge.
A popular destination for day-hikers and paddlers, the swinging bridge over the Toccoa River is over 270 feet making it the bridge is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. It is located on the Benton MacKaye Trail and the Duncan Ridge National Recreation Trail in Fannin County.
The Jacks River Trail stretches over 16 miles through the beautifully rugged and remote Cohutta Wilderness, following its namesake river through a lushly green, waterfall-filled river valley. Nine miles downstream from the Dally Gap trailhead, Jacks River tumbles from a rugged, rocky outcrop, forming the stunning Jacks River Waterfall.

Fannin Brewing started in 2012 and is now making its way across North Georgia and into Atlanta. Each of their beers is named after people or places across North Georgia with special blends this year consisting of Hiawassee Golden Ale, the Toccoa Brown and the Chief Whitepath White IPA.
The crystal blue waters of Lake Blue Ridge are a jewel sitting with a mountain backdrop. It is one of the more premier bodies of water in the North Georgia Mountains. The Chattahoochee National Forest encompasses about 80% of the shoreline with the remaining 20 to 25% privately held.
Morganton Point Recreation Area sits on the shores of Lake Blue Ridge and provide kayak rentals, stand-up paddle boards and more. The day use area offers secluded swimming, hiking trails, picnicking, boating and fishing
The Aska Trail System provides approximately 17 miles of recreational trails for bicyclists and hikers. This area is located in Fannin County off of Aska Road, and less than ten miles from downtown Blue Ridge, GA. Trails range in length from 1.0 mile to 5.1 miles and range in difficulty from easy to strenuous.
Springer Mountain is located in the beautiful and untouched Chattahoochee National Forest and is one of Georgia's most popular hiking destinations. The mountain has an elevation of about 3,782 feet and the beautiful views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountain range is guaranteed to take your breath away. For the most adventurous of you, the Appalachian Trail departs from the summit providing a 2200+ mile backpacking trek to Mount Katahdin in Maine.
The stunningly beautiful waterfall tumbles over 50 feet, cascading twice over the lower and upper waterfalls before tumbling into a deep, calm, blue pool below. Hemlock trees soar high into the sky above the waterfall, and dark green rhododendrons frame the creek’s cascade as it drops from the sharp, sheer rock cliff. Large strewn boulders and rock outcrops provide a shaded resting spot for viewing the waterfall.

Since the Olympic events, the Ocoee Whitewater Center has evolved into a highly visible and much used venue. Touted by athletes as having the best whitewater course in the world, the OWC hosts both national and international whitewater competitions on the 500-meter course. As part of the National Forest system, the Ocoee Whitewater Center is managed by the Forest Service as a multiple use recreational and educational complex.
Fighting-town's pristine waters are probably the most famous for trout fishing in all of North Georgia. Its' crystal clear waters are home to wild and stocked rainbow trout and wind through much of the county, however public access is limited. However when you are Always Living the Dream you'll be a stone's throw from the waters edge.
